1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using VS Notify ("the Service"), operated by Vero Scale ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

VS Notify provides a free form-to-email service that allows you to receive form submissions from your websites via email. The Service works by:

  • Pointing your HTML form action to notify.veroscale.au/to/your@email.com
  • Verifying your email address ownership (one-time)
  • Delivering form submissions to your verified email

No account creation, API keys, or JavaScript is required.

3. Email Verification

Before receiving form submissions, you must verify ownership of the recipient email address. This is done by clicking a verification link sent to that address. Verification is required to prevent abuse and ensure consent.

4. Service Usage

VS Notify is provided free of charge with the following fair use guidelines:

  • Reasonable submission volume for typical contact forms
  • No automated or programmatic abuse
  • No use for mass mailing or spam

We reserve the right to rate-limit or suspend service to email addresses that exceed reasonable usage patterns.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited emails, or malicious content
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Transmit viruses or harmful code
  • Collect personal data without proper consent
  • Engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices
  • Circumvent rate limits or abuse protections

Violation of these terms may result in immediate suspension of service to your email address.

6. Data Processing

VS Notify processes form submissions to deliver them via email. We do NOT store form submission content. We only retain:

  • Your verified email address
  • Your notification preferences (subject template, redirect URL)
  • Aggregate submission counts

7. Service Availability

We strive for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for:

  • Service interruptions due to maintenance
  • Issues caused by third-party services
  • Email delivery failures
  • Force majeure events

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VERO SCALE PTY LTD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

As VS Notify is a free service, our maximum liability is limited to zero dollars.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vero Scale from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

10. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by removing forms pointing to VS Notify. We may suspend or terminate service to any email address for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Abuse or excessive usage
  • Extended period of inactivity (12+ months)

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
