We are committed to protecting your privacy and comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). For users in the European Union, we also comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
2. Privacy-First Design
VS Notify is designed with privacy at its core. We do NOT store:
- Form submission content or data
- Email message bodies after delivery
- Personal data from your website visitors
- IP addresses of form submitters
Form data passes through our servers only to be delivered via email - it is never persisted or logged.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Recipient Information
When you verify your email to receive form submissions, we store:
- Your email address
- Verification status
- Your notification preferences (subject template, redirect URL)
3.2 Usage Statistics
We track minimal aggregate usage data:
- Number of submissions received per email address
- Date of last submission
We do NOT track or store any content from form submissions.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Verify email ownership to prevent abuse
- Deliver form submissions to your inbox
- Apply your notification preferences (subject, redirect)
- Monitor for abuse and enforce rate limits
- Improve and maintain the Service
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: As listed in Section 5.1 below
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
- Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale

No system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but strive to protect your data using industry best practices.
7. Data Retention
- Recipient data: Retained while your email is active, deleted after 12 months of inactivity
- Usage statistics: Retained for 24 months
- Form submission content: NOT retained - passes through and is immediately discarded
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request information about data we hold
- Deletion: Request deletion of your email and preferences
- Correction: Update your preferences via the settings link in any notification email

9. Cookies
VS Notify does not use cookies. The landing page and settings pages function without any tracking or session cookies.

The Service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us for removal.
